Why join a guided tour?

The right light, every time

We build every itinerary around golden hour. You won't be stumbling to a viewpoint hoping for the best - you'll be there, ready, before the colour comes.

Small groups, real access

No more than six guests per tour. Enough room to work independently, close enough to learn from everyone around you.

Learn while you shoot

Every day includes field coaching - reading the landscape, working with available light, and finding compositions that aren't already on every travel blog.

Your Guide

I've stood where
you want to stand.

These images were taken during our inaugural tours in Ghana — the same forests, rivers, and open plains you'll explore. I started Wildlight because I kept seeing photographers come home from big group tours disappointed: the itinerary had ticked every box, but no one had thought about the light.

Every location we visit has been chosen for what it offers a photographer, not just a birder. Golden hour at the White Volta. Dawn mist in the canopy at Nyamebe Bepo. I know these places because I've been there, camera in hand, working out exactly where to stand.
